Katherine Orr
Katherine is an elementary school educator with over twenty years of classroom experience. She currently serves as a Math Coach at Grattan Elementary School and as a Supervisor at the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute. In addition to teaching, she has spent time in international service, working in refugee camps in rural Thailand and education programs in South Africa.
Katherine currently sits on the boards of The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health. She lives in San Francisco with her husband Erik and two children. Katherine holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in Education from George Washington University.
