Thank you to everyone who participated in, supported, and joined us at Ignite Potential 2024!

We're still floating from all the joy, support, and energy that the Spark SF Public Schools community brought to the Green Room on May 1st for Ignite Potential 2024. Congratulations again to the student scholars!

With the generosity of so many, the event raised over $222,000 and counting. This support will ensure that Spark will be here for San Francisco's public school students, empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, in addition to supporting the student scholarships, we were able to announce three impactful grants during the event:

  • A $100,000 grant that marks the launch of the SFUSD Literacy Instructional Institutes, which will intensively invest in our teachers' instructional capacity to embed literacy excellence and equity in each and every classroom;

  • The second, a grant of $50,000 to support SFUSD's African American Achievement and Leadership Initiative (AAALI), bolstering conditions for success for our African American students;

  • And the third - a $24,000 grant to support LGBTQ+ Teacher Liaisons in SFUSD elementary schools in their work to create safe and welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ students.

If you have not yet made a gift and would like to, you still can. Help us get over the $250,000 mark to further elevate the success of our 50,000 public school students!
